Animal Bedding
Systems
Bedding made corrugated cardboard is recognized by veterinarians
as the healthiest bedding for performance horses, show cattle,
camelids, sheep, goats, pigs, poultry and pets. One game farm
owner says it has reduced the mortality rate in his quail
production by 25% or more. It's warm, thermal, soft and clean
and virtually dust free. The manufacturer, ESG Systems, Ltd.,
in business for over 25 years, has designed the premier
shredding and bailing system to produce these products.
Wil & Susan Gibson are proud to be the North American agent for
this equipment providing sales and support for installations.
These are the approved systems to manufacture AirLite Animal
Bedding products
The plant is virtually maintenance free and all parts and spares
are on the shelf and can be shipped immediately anywhere in the
world. Parts can also be obtained locally through national
distributors such as Grainger, Northern Tool and Motion
Industries. Each plant comes with full assembly instructions, or
we can fit it for you.
When your company joins our cooperative, you will have the full
support of, and access to the membership for information and
leads compiled by us who are already in the business.
The plant is comprised of a shredder, baler and incorporates a
full airflow dust extraction system that not only takes out the
dust but also conditions the material at the same time. Bales
can be set from 30 to 55 pounds. The average size most operators
produce is about 34 lbs. The production rate for the EP3 at this
weight is about 96 bales per hour, with some reporting up to 107
per hour! Output depends on the shredder type, number and skill
of operators, using clean dry material.
Why Cardboard for AirLite Bedding?
It’s Therapeutic
CARDBOARD BEDDING has been developed in recent years in
association with leading vets, owners and trainers - it has now
been proven to have outstanding beneficial and therapeutic
qualities.
Traditional materials (straw or shavings) contain various
allergens. These may be particles of dust, chemicals, fungi
spores, parasites, weed seeds etc. These particles when inhaled
can cause emphysema or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease
(heaves) and can lead to broken blood vessels, sinus problems
and chronic coughs.
Dangerous particles
